Previous Washington quarterback Alex Smith couldn't completely accept Ron Rivera's new assertions in the group's quarterback circumstance.

Talking on ESPN's "Monday Night Commencement," Smith berated the mentor for the thing Rivera said about Carson Wentz to the media:

"I had a truly difficult time watching that," Smith responded. "At the point when I heard it, [I] could barely handle it.

I'm not [here] to shield Carson Wentz … However this is a guarded HC that is totally driving the transport over his quarterback."

The NFL world responded to Smith's interpretation of web-based entertainment.

"Alex Smith is a genuine one. Ron Rivera is only a horrendous mentor.

What has he done since Cam Newton?" one client inquired.

"Alex Smith knows pretty much everything there is to know about guarded mentors being imbeciles to the QB position,"

one more tweeted. "Peruse Mike Nolan, Mike Singletary, his initial two lead trainers in the association."

"Could have done without the Rivera remark either," one more remark.
